When the paintbrush is in hand, I am at peace. My studio is my sanctuary of visual imagination, exploration and transformation into an other worldly visual trance. I have studied with several of the modern day masters, won numerous awards and sold my work to collectors nationally through gallery presentation.

I live in the southwest where the vast open landscape, warm light and smell of rain in the desert envelope my senses, encouraging me to embrace a magical new phase of my work. My painting style has evolved from the Dutch Masters Chiaroscuro to a looser, abstract and more colorful application. I happily take on commissions to do both styles. My daughter Devyn is my most trusted art critic and consultant mid painting. My rescue pooch Cooper is my hiking companion and studio side kick.
